Is top prospect Ellis McCarthy favoring Florida? McCarthy, ranked 8th in Cali High's rankings of 2012 California prospects, put that he was studying at University of Florida under the education section on his facebook. While putting something on his facebook is a far leap from making a verbal commitment, McCarthy could be giving the sports world an early view into what his initial recruitment feelings are. 

Early on McCarthy expressed an interest in staying close to home. Those feelings may be changing.
